What is Alpha?
|Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over ten weekly sessions. It’s dinner, low-key conversation, and friendly fun.|
Conversations About the Big Questions of Life
Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? How can I make the most of the rest of my life? Each week we will eat a free meal together followed by a 45 minute talk that explores these very questions. Afterwards, there is a time of thought-provoking discussion designed to help you interact with the talk and share your opinion. It is a safe environment where you can choose to interact as much or as little as you would like and best of all it is free!
Here's How it Goes
First Things First: Food
Enjoy a four course meal including: soup, salad, an entree, and dessert. Spend some time hanging out and getting to know everyone at your table.
The talk explores the important questions of life and is meant to provoke discussion. They are usually 45 mins long with topics ranging from who is Jesus to why and how should I read the Bible?
The discussion is our favorite part. During discussion a table leader will guide your table through questions written to help you dive deeper into the topic of the night. It is a safe place to share your perspective and explore what life means.
