College Student Fall Retreat 2018
September 28, 2018 to September 30, 2018
Location: 62883 LA-1089, Mandeville, LA 70471Category: College Ministry | Coordinator: Erik Schmaltz
How do you get to know God?
Not just know things about him, but to know God himself, the way you know another person by actually interacting with them?
Whether you grew up being told to read your Bible every day, or you’ve never heard that ‘Spiritual Disciplines’ are a thing, God can often seem distant, hard to reach, or inaccessible. But our God has shown that he delights to draw people to himself. So this year we are leaning into the time of retreat from the noise of the world and consider how God reveals himself to us, both as we read His Word and when we approach his throne in prayer as humbly and boldly as a child approaches his father. Come with us, and expect a fresh Encounter of the God who made you to know him.
The Retreat will take place at Fountainebleau State Park in Mandeville at Group Camp 1 (Location). Cost for the retreat is $40 and includes lodging and B,L,D on Saturday and B on Sunday. The Retreat begins at 7:00p on Friday 9/28 and ends around 11:00a on Sunday 9/30. You can find the schedule and a packing list below.
