When hurricane Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans, it scattered our entire congregation and flooded our church facility under 9 feet of water. Whatever future we would have as a church was suddenly filled with uncertainty. Since that time, God has opened many amazing doors and has given us a vision to rebuild an even greater facility that will provide us with the opportunity to serve and care for many people for years to come. Although we lost over one third of our church members, we are proceeding with much faith and great sacrifice on the part of the remaining members of our church. While we are moving forward with a plan, we are still in need of the prayers and support of many more people who love the people in New Orleans.
As you watch the video, we trust that the Lord will make known to you just how you can be a part of both a physical and a spiritual rebuilding project.
For the many that have already been a source of support through your prayers, donations, and trips down to help, we continue to thank God for your friendship. It has humbled us to be on the receiving end of such incredible care and sacrifice, and we trust that the Lord will return the blessing into your lives many times over.
